How would Jones do against an elite pro boxer in MMA?

Considerating the mayweather mcgregor talk and lot of guys here say mcgregor would dominate Floyd in MMA rules.

If an elite boxer like....Wlad Klitscho or Tyson Fury challenged Jon Jones to a fight with MMA rules. Would Jones dominate? Or is it more comepetitive for some reason?

Jones would win easily. It's like asking if the best badminton player in the world could best the best tennis player at badminton.

Kickboxing rules would be interesting. They'd both be out of their element.

If they are an elite level boxer then they don't have takedown defense.

Now an MMA fighter with better boxing and good takedown defense, like Stipe or a 2007 Rampage would be tough matchups for Jones.

It would be really bad and unless Jon decided to sub the boxer it would be incredibly dangerous for them. When he got them down, he might make a mess of them in two or three ground and pound strikes.

Even standing, he'd stomp their knees and poke the shit out of their eyes before they were even in range to hit him, then he'd take them down and they'd never get up.

Wlad Klitscho or Tyson Fury would be murdered against a top kickboxer in a kickboxingmatch. It wouldn't be competitive at all. Against a top MMA fighter with MMA rules...you can imagine.

Mma > boxing. I love boxing,but an mma fighter has more tools. Unless it was a street fight and said mma fighter wore dumbass skinny jeans, then he may get boxed up by not being able to kick,takedown and work a proper ground game.
