How would Fedor / Chuck Liddel go down TODAY?

Who wins in 2018?

I love Fedor but in his late years he became a bit chinny and threw away his arsenal of weapons to become kind of a brawler (Nice to see him slam down Frank Mir tho)

And on the other hand Chuck Liddell ... well he pretty much was always a non-technical brawler with a diminishing chin at the end

How would this fight go down do you think?

It could happen, have you seen Bellator? It could happen

If Fedor wins the tournament he will be 39-5 and Chuck would be an easy 40th win Fedor can retire on.

he gets chinny, but he gets dizzy.
Chuck sleeps.

so while I see this going either way, chances are that Fedor sleeps Chuck.

Chuck Liddell never got to Fedor's level, let's face it, he was just a punch guy - rock em sock em robots

Fedor used to have so much skill and it's kind of sad to see him mostly focus on brawling now adays

So they kind of leveled to to be kind of the same person

Chuck used to be pretty durable he wasnt always chinny
And honestly there is no pick you could confidently make at this point whoever lands on the other person's damaged brain gets the win.
People will just pick their favorite fighter which is obviously Fedor.
There's no clash of styles it's just two glass cannons.

In their primes this would of been an awesome fight...

Now...

Chuck was getting KO'd by Rich Franklin (who had average power as a MW) before he retired. Fedor is a bit chinny, but he hasn't taken a fraction of the damage Chuck did--especially in Chuck's last couple of years (brutal KOs from Rashad, Shogun, Rampage, etc)

First solid punch puts the other guy on skates

haven't seen chuck in a ring in like 10 years Fedor was just in it knocking out Frank Mir..

CMON MAN THIS IS DAY ONE STUFF

Yeah, people don't understand relative damage and age around here. It's like saying "JDS is now chinny and a few years past his prime. I wonder if he could beat 55-year old Marco Ruas if Marco came out of retirement?"

That's a good question, I'll make this thread shortly

I wouldn't be shocked if Chuck won.
It's not like Fedor would take him down or make it a technical fight. It would just be rockem sockem robots until somebody falls.

Chuck's durability is just too far gone, his chin left the building ten years ago.

If Chuck wants to do a few legacy fights in Bellator, I'd rather him face someone like Sonnen. Stylistically it would be far more competitive.
