How would a prime Bob Sapp do in current UFC?

I know Bob Sapp's been a big joke for almost a decade now.
But I do remember him defeating twice a kickboxing legend ike Ernesto Hoost, like completely. I remember a prime Bob Sapp ragdolling and throwing around Big Nog, who eventually caught him with a great armbar.
I mean his technique was surely quite poor, but damn was he big and strong (350 lbs, most of it being muscle, 6ft5in tall). And his chin wasn't bad...I mean he never really got knocked out, most of his late fights finish with him being punched and pretending to be in excruciating pain...but I actually believe he's giving away most of those fights for money...I mean a man that took thousands of kicks and punches from Hoost can't succumb to a 170 lbs can from Romania or whatever (no racial issues being raised :P), I believe he's selling fights and just wants to avoid injuries. But I think he did have heart and passion for the sport in the past.
My point is...I'm not saying he would be HW champ...but if he trained and had some sort of conditioning he could be top 8 to 12 and could have a chance at beating people like werdum or overeem, silva, browne, hunt etc etc.
Don't get me wrong though...I'm no Sapp fan. I just think he's a fake and doesn't fight to full potential. I'm just saying that he could put up a decent fight if he just tried!

He'd die from the weight cut.

Even if they allowed him to fight, he MIGHT grab a win or 2 over some low ranked guys.
All the UFC heavyweight top 10 or 15 would wreck him in the first round most likely.

He would make dat heavyweight $$$$$ millions and then straight up run from pre/post fight testing.

He may have some trouble making the weight limit. Just by about 100lbs or so

Hed miss weight.

And "prime" sapp woyld never make 265, so this thread sucks.

Just looked at TS join date tho, so im embarrassed to have had a semi serious response.

You should think about the Sapp that actually fought his fights. When he fought Nog, the brazilian was actually in his prime and sapp was really a tough opponent for him...wasn't an easy fight at all. Nog was hurt several times and smashed to the floor twice, and that Nog surely could take shots. I mean there's Hunt at n8 who's no legend...even Overeem, if he got caught good by Sapp he would go out.
I say he would be around 8 or 10. Same skill, just really willing to win and better conditioned

Well LOL...didn't really think about the weight cut. But why is there even a weight limit for HWs? Ok just imagine he could fight at his usual weight

Bob Sapp sucked. People lost to him because they were intimidated by his size. He could throw guys around for a bit, but when the going got tough, he faded fast. He might've beaten Kimbo, but that's about it.

He'd be the very first super heavyweight champ in the UFC.

If they let him fight at his natural weight, he could conceivably have gotten a couple of wins, a couple of finishes even, against top 10 opponents. Thing is, when he first entered combat sports, at one time he was an explosive powder keg of ferocity that could catch unsuspecting guys off guard. As he became so well known for being such a joke it is awfully hard to think of him that way now but it is the truth.

When Sapp actually gave a fuck he beat hoost twice. That sapp against 0 wrestlers could have gone somewhere.

The UFC could have a pretty solid SHW division...
C.) Sapp
1.) Tim Sylvia
2.) Matt Serra
3.) I was thinking Big Foot, but then he mentioned going down to 205, so maybe not

NSAC by making him piss in a cup...
Other than that the K1 Sapp was beastly.

Does the UFC even have 15 active HW fighters?
