How will Paul Felder fair against Ross Pearson?

    He took a lot of damage in the Barboza fight, I worry about him returning so soon, but I think he should be able to win.

    I was wondering the same thing because i follow him on Twitter. Two weeks ago someone asked him how he was feeling and he said my leg is better, meaning it was still hurting.

    Hurts me to say it because I'm a huge fan of Pearson. But beating Stout, Maynard, a young Ryan Couture, and essentially beating Sanchez, isn't as great as it looks on paper. Don't get me wrong, it's good and it's not like Felder's resume is astounding. But his last fight he showed he's on the top of his game right now. Pearson is back and forth.

    If I'm wrong, I'll be happy, so it works either way for me :)

    Felder showed poor fight IQ, and he relies on his chin and the ability to take punishment too much. And for fucks sake, stop with this spinning shit.

    Hes strong, and durable, but he needs to work on countering faster fighters, and fighters who use multiple angles and striking techniques. He should roll Pearson simply because Pearson is a one dimensional boxer. He doesnt have the leg strikes to even sniff Barbosa.

    I like Pearson and I would still probably take Felder in this one. He looked tough as hell in the Barboza fight. Took big shots, seemed unfazed for the most part, and was still willing to hang in the pocket and look for counters. Very game, tough dude. I can't see Ross finishing him so we will see. Ross's boxing is better but Felder is definitely tougher. Should be a real good action fight too.

    I agree. If you were to go off of MMAth and I dunno why you would but IF you did Barboza looked better against Pearson than he did against Felder iirc.

    Felder fought well against Barboza. I think Felder beats him, probably by KO.

    Personally, I'm not a guy who goes 100% on HWs or Striking matches. It's too easy for one thing to go wrong. But I applaud your willingness to do it.
