How will McGregor deal with the jab of Khabib?

Conor is going to expose Khabib for the fraud that he is

Conor is in his own league above guys like Ferguson and Khabib. Don’t get me wrong these guys are both very good. But Conor is in a league of his own. We have literally never seen a fighter in mma as good as Conor Mcgregor is.

That is a fact and as someone who has watched mma his whole life I can tell you that Conor is going to absolutely anhilate Khabib and he will make it look so easy. Conor is also angry in this fight which is what makes it even more scary.

In terms of pound for pound skill Conor is easily above Gsp, fedor Jones etc.

Might as well go all in man.....

We all saw what Khabib did to a well rounded fighter like Iaquinta with that jab and striking setups:

This is a new and improved Khabib and we have never seen McGregor deal with anyone with this combination of skills before, are we overlooking a potential mauling on the feet if McGregor starts to tire from defending takedowns?
Omg lol....khabib was jabbing a ortho fighter with the same height and reach as him, who was flat footed, not countering, and had a weird low stance cause he was scared of takedowns.

Boxing 101 with southpaw vs ortho, the ortho throws the jab, the paw takes a slight angle to the right and follows with a counter straight down the pipe. Conor will throw a straight, then use his sneaky lead uppercut coming from under khabibs left armpit, then a follow up straight. Its a basic counter vs ortho that Conor does VERY well, for reference see the alverez fight.

Conors got like 8" reach on khabib and counter strikes making exceptional use of his range.

Khabibs worse possible gameplan will try using that jab on Conor, lets hope for khabibs sake him outpointing Al (which he couldnt drop or hurt in 5 rounds) doesnt put it in his head he can box with Conor. His grappling is his path to victory.

You took the bait.

One of the majors reasons Conor's overrated. He's never KO'ed anyone he didn't at least have a 3-4 inch reach advantage over. This is also why I think he has a chance to win this fight.
He came close against Nate. You've also got to give Nate credit for having an iron chin and incredible recovery. He's only been finished by 3 flush head kicks and followup punches. And even then, he still didn't go out, he just wasn't intelligently defending himself.

Khabib throwing a jab would be the beginning of the end for Khabib, I expect Khabib to be in full blitz takedown mode, he knows his striking is amateur in comparison.

How many times have we seen good strikers look terrible against good grapplers?

Conor has never faced a guy like Khabib (not even close) but Khabib has ground numerous tough strikers to paste. Conor quits before most of those guys.
Yeah, Barboza and Johnson have shown a lot more heart, especially Barboza, but they couldn't do shit against Khabib. That said, Conor has a knowledge of angles and advanced footwork and counter punching that those guys don't have, which makes him more dangerous.

Khabib will jab him to death after Conor becomes a gassed out zombie.

It's not that bizarre a claim.

High level grapplers have a way of making strikers look like they can't strike for shit. When they get tired it gets worse. MMA 101.

And we've seen Conor quit when tired and hurt numerous times. Khabib can do that. Whether he will...nobody knows til fight night.
Numerous times?
So Diaz 1 and....?

Khabib's striking is grossly underrated, people act like he has Phil Brooks level striking..

His awareness on the feet is top knotch. He might look clunky and awkward, but he's almost never there to be hit. People mock him because holds his head up when he pulls back, but great strikers do that same thin,Conor for example does that. At least when khabib does it he'll keep one hand up.

You sound like one of those guys that thinks Dillashaw has "great footwork" because he dances around like a drunk frat chick. It really is amazing how little you guys know about boxing. The only time you'll see a "great striker" step straight back from the pocket is when they're hurt. You probably also think Barboza is a "great striker" because he throws flashy kicks even though he's a terrible boxer.
