That's the first severe beating of JDS's career. Will he be the same fighter when he comes back to the cage? That's the kind of beating that can change a fighter forever. We will have to wait and see.

I think he's going to come back even stronger lke cain did. after suffering a loss like that im sure he's going to train harder to make sure that never happends again.

He had a good attitude at the end, saying he will come back and take his title. He'll probably work his ass off even more cardio wise and prep himself like a madman for fast pace fights like last night. Gotta have that confidence to succeed

I think he'll be okay, but he'll never beat Velasquez again, that's certain...

    Nonsense.

Fights like that BOOST fighters and their abilities.

This is as false as saying: "YOu know Anderson Silva lost to Ryo Chonan by submission, and Chael almost beat him down grinding him down--- is Anderson Silva ever gonna recover?"

    LOL

If it didn't terminate him (TKO or submission) then it only made him stronger.

JDS is a superbly astute warrior with a vicious striking style that can simply just topple any one when and if he connects.

Cain knows it can via their first fight when he got TKO'd.

All he needs to do is re-adjust his game and focus more on power and cardio.

Hes gonna come back a killer and knockout everyone out in his path to the title. Unless he runs into Mark Hunt, but they're gonna keep Hunt far far away from Junior at this point. They are going to want to build Junior back up with 1 solid top 5 win and make the Trilogy match. Hell it only took 1 win for Cain to get a rematch and he didn't even defend the title once.

He is going to have problems dealing with the other fighters. They will no longer have that fear that he coulnd't be stopped on the standup. He needs to learn another trick.

He will beat the hell out of some poor soul. I would not want to be his next opponent unless it's like next week.

JDS would destroy Hunt. I know Hunt has a chin, but JDS has a hell of a chin as well, as he showed last night.

Yes he has the rest of the tools necessary to be champ again but now him and his team knows where to work on the most his cardio. If he can get his cardio up then the rest of the division is in trouble including Cain.

Hopefully with his hands up. He needs to improve his defense.

What business is it of yours, friendo?
    Nope.

Mark hunt hits way harder and is a way better striker than Cain.

He will come back stronger and challenge for the title again. I think he is a very strong mentally and will look at the loss as a new beginning.
