With this being Ben Henderson's last fight at Lightweight due to the weight cutting.

How does he match up with the current top 15?

I am not sure how to do a poll, so this should suffice.

So Top 15:

Champion : Robbie Lawler
1) Johny Hendricks
2) Rory MacDonald
3) Tyron Woodley
4) Carlos Condit
5) Hector Lombard
6) Matt Brown
7) Kelvin Gastelum
8) Demian Maia
9) Tarec Saffiedine
10) Dong Hyun Kim
11) Jake Ellenberger
12) Rick Story
13) Jordan Mein
14) Gunnar Nelson
15) Ryan LaFlare

Who do you think he beats and who do you think his first opponent will be? I think he will be put just outside of the top 10, I think maybe LaFlare/Nelson? Which are both winnable fights for him.

I could see anyone in the top 10 beating him. I don't think Welterweight works out well for him.

Benson would look good at WW with them heavy legs and slick moves, not sure he has the punching power to find a guys kill switch but he has other tools...

There are some very big guys for him, but he is a strong guy too.. who knows..

he's not a big puncher at LW, so not much difference there...

Don't really see Bendo doing great at welterweight. Not as good as he's been doing at lightweight by any stretch.

I'll have to reserve judgement until after a couple fights, to see how having less of a weight cut affects him

I don't think Bendo's style will work well when he is the smaller fighter.

I don't think he'd do well at this stage of his career. He's already getting chinny which is not good when a lot of WWs are big punchers.

Not well. He'd get destroyed by the top 10

He will get a few wins but when he gets KO'd he will know welterweight isn't for him.

I feel like his style doesn't translate well to 170. Point fight stalling will only be more difficult in a heavier weight class.

He would lose to
1) Johny Hendricks
2) Rory MacDonald
3) Tyron Woodley
4) Carlos Condit
5) Hector Lombard
6) Matt Brown

1) this thread has been done at least 13 times.
2) he isn't moving up anymore, except under very specific circumstances
