How well would the 47 year old Hendo have done against Rockhold?

The one who recently almost knocked out Bisping and lost a close decision many thought he drew or won.

I think if Rockhold had fought as a striker he would have been on the receiving end of another knockout.

It's possible the kicks might have given him problems but Hendo showed competent defense against Franklin, using a similar kicking style.
 
If he comes clean then Luke will murder him
 
if rockhold fought smart he could force the clinch no problem and take hendo down where he'd tap him out within a few seconds.

But if he tried to stand with hendo? He could still win, but could also get knocked out. Hendo has much better hands and chin.
 
He has one shot before he´s taken down and submitted or GnP to oblivion.
 
There is a reason Henderson retired.

He would of got beaten pretty badly, no matter how bad we would’ve all like to see a h-bomb explode on rockold’s face.

Luke would get him down, and then... Luke by whatever he wishes.
 
This is always hard to say, as we all understand that a natural 40 year old can NEVER compete with a 30 year old in a cagefight. It is just not physically possible. Sad but true.

Hendo kept knocking out guys into his 40s, so he could catch Luke, just as he caught Bisping, but I still doubt it.
 
I think the real question is how would a 67 yr old TRT Hendo have done?
 
I think some realism is in order; at his age he's not gonna be able to move well enough to have much of anything for a genuinely top 5 ranked MW. He wouldn't be able to avoid getting hit by fighters with the kickboxing skills of Rockhold, his takedown defense and ability to move in the clinch is far lower than it used to be and he'll just have too many fight years in general. The chances of his being able to keep Rockhold from getting in the top position over 5 rounds are extremely slim to none.
 
He would lose if Luke fought smart, kept his hands up, and pressed for the takedown.

With that said, Luke's striking defense is severely lacking, and if Hendo were to connect on a power shot, he'd knock Luke into the next fucking century. I don't care how old he is, power is the last thing to go.

If they fought ten times? Hendo wins two or three of them, I'd bet on that.
 
Lol what. Cmon guys. Luke is a great fighter. He would kill hendo. Maybe prime hendo beats him though. It would be a close fight. Not sure. But the one that fought mouse and bisping? No way he beats rockhold. A loss to an all time great like romero does not affect his elite status. He is game.

Who the fuck knows. I don't get why people ask these questions, there's a chance he could land a bomb and knock Rockhold out but there is also a chance that he would get totally dominated. 1 thing is certain though, it definitley wouldn't be a controversial 5 rd decision.
