How to wash Nike Machomai?

Hi, I have an old pair of nike machomai boxing shoes. I didn't take care of them years ago so they were white but now stained yellow from sweat. How do I wash and dry them? Sponge + soap + water then leave them out in the sun?

put them in water for one day then add some soap and with some soft sponge gently brush them ,then wash them from that soap ,and repeat the same process if needed!

I run mine through the waging machine, seems to work fine. I do it to running shoes too, never had an issue.
