How to mentally deal with a long-term injure

tore my pec tendon on Christmas eve and had the repair 2 weeks ago, 4-6 month healing and rehab time, no lifting or bjj for a while

yea it sucks but im watching instructionals, taking notes (something I didn't really have a lot of time to do before and what I really have been meaning to do), and spending time in prayer

times already kind of flying by, sucks initially when the nerve block wears off and the initial pain phase with the meds but it passes dude

don't be depressed, USE this, don't let it use you
 
It's all in the mind. It's just psychological. Try to master controlling your mind.
 
When I had my left knee replaced, they found out that I didn't have an anterior cruciate ligament. It apparently tore in childhood and I lived with it until I was 58.
