Bet $100 on Tony Ferguson to win.

Using my amatuer fight analysis skills, I reviewed El Cucuy's last two fights and Michael Coffee Bean Journey Chandler's last two.
  • Tony Ferguson saw both bouts go to decisions, which he lost, largely due to being controlled via wrestling/grappling/whatever you want to call it.
  • Michael Chandler gassed and received severe beatings in his last two fights, and showed no offensive ground/fence game.

What I'm getting at here folks, is yes, Chandler may land a bomb or two in round one, but as everyone knows, you can't knock Tony out. In other words, Chandler's only route to victory is already closed. Coffee Bean Journey certainly isn't going to be able to control Tony like Dariush and Oliveira did. Those are two of the five best grapplers at lightweight bar none. (Shoutout to Islam and Arman.)

Ferguson looked better than Chandler in each of their respective last two fights. Now place your bets before the sports books read this post!

Yup Chandler is tailor made for Tony. He’s a brawler who won’t wrestle and gasses hard.

Chandler didn't gas against Oliviera, he got caught. And Gaethje's vicious leg kicks took him out of the fight in round 2. Chandler generally has no issues going 3 rounds.

Tony has showed zero takedown defense in recent fights, Chandler can beat him standing or on the ground.

If you look at their common opponents, Chandler nearly got Charles out of there and won a round against Gaethje in a war. Ferguson lost every round and lost 10-8 rounds to both guys, being stopped by Gaethje as well. So according to my mmath, Chandler wins easily.

Chandler gassed vs Gaethje because he spent the first 2 rounds throwing 100% power into every punch. He still lasted the 3 rounds and Gaethje is far better and more dangerous than 2022 Tony. If you watched the countdown, he is fully aware that he went full retard and is planning to do the complete opposite.

Tony is 38 and shot to shit. If he tries his old all out pressure style, he is going to get blasted. He said on the countdown that he is going back to his wrestling roots so who knows.

The odds are pretty accurate I would say.

Chandler just went 3 hard rounds with Gaycheese and is known for his 5 round wars.

He will slow down but clearly survive.

Chandler will dominate and hurt Tony in round 1.
He might finish him but after a 5 minute ass whooping Tony will be mentaly broken.

In their prime Tony wins but not here

Chandler was a Division 1 NCAA All-American Wrestler. Saying he can't grapple/wrestle is, um, not exactly accurate. This is me being nice, TS. Hope you've got a hundred bucks to spare...

Tony didn't look good at all against Oliveira and Beneil, absolutely no proper offense from his side and he got dominated.

Chandler almost finished Oliveira and that first round was pretty much all Chandler(some even argued it was a 10-8).
When Chandler fought Gaethje he made it decently competitive and stunned him a few times in the first round.

The truth is Tony's prime is done, that sucks because I'm a huge fans of his and he was one of the most entertaining fighters on the roster.
Not only is he out of his prime, but he's completely shot and you can tell by watching his last few fights.

IMO prime for prime I would've favored T-Ferg, however that's not the case here and he's gonna get beat pretty easily on saturday night.

Chandler will prob win by KO

I’m taking a stab at Tony round 3 +3000 though

No Tony didn't look better, he was totally dominated.

I put a little money on Tony. Even though I think Tony is on his way out, he just has the tools to beat Chandler. Reach. Cardio. Hellbows. I'm not super confident on the bet, but I liked the odds enough to put $20 on him.

Chandler is a lock which is why this is great advice. Get people to bet on tony to shift the betting lines and make even more money on your Coffee Bean Mike bet
