how to get out of an extremely angry mental state

Unfortunately our anger is both learned and genetic and the aftermath of people fucking with you is that the anger comes in waves. There isn't much that can quell that but the passage of time, or violence against the aggressing party. Nothing else is really going to make that go away. Not saying you should choose the second option. But yeah turning the other cheek means swallowing the anger and that takes time. Assuming you're in the right. If you're in the wrong, you should acknowledge that you're an asshole and got what you deserved. And to be clear I don't know if you are right or wrong here, but you do.

yeah, time away is what i need. swallowing the anger, as you say, is what is keeping me where i'm at. needing to accept what took place and move on.
 
Use the "time machine." Sleep and when you wake up, you might have a slightly harder time remembering why you were so angry.
 
Just bury it deep down inside and when your eye starts twitching for no reason, then you will know that it's working.
 
Funny enough, i had to serve a tenant a three day notice, behind like a mofo… no more excuses, also month to month…..
 
Drive fast on winding roads while listening to loud music while yelling does it for me. After about an hour, you get it out of your system.
 
try a 4 day fast, they say that after 4-5 days, there's a phase where you start to experience euphoria........ or it could be death...... might not be quick enough, but 16 hours without food, you'll start to forget about everything <lol>
 
this is what i need an answer to lol. i have just recently moved out of my place in a very negative way. i'd go into details, but it would probably anger me more haha. anyway, is there something you guys ever do to get yourself into a happier state of mind? not jerking off or anything haha, something that will last longer than ten minutes.
Usually a good smoke.
