I made a thread about strongest champion in Coleman, but later on i started remembering stuff some guys said about Jones strenght: Shogun after the loss told that Jon was stronger than he expected, Chael also talked about how Bones just dominated in the clinch, smashing him to the fence.

Seeing Jones manhandling Cormier was also impressive, and finally he escaping that Belfortrt armbar was mindblowing.

So, is he that strong, or hes just that athletic?

For a chicken legged coked out christian hypocrite...pretty strong

Against fighters where he have a huge advantage, very.

Sonnen and Cormier both said they were surprised at how big and strong Jon was. And those are 2 pretty strong guys themselves.

Leverage...above average
Strength....average.

Jones is very very strong, Romero said he has Bear strength when he trained with him, I know he is just a MW, but he is still a strong guy himself and great grappler, and he thought Jones was like a Bear. His opponents have said how strong he is too.

semi-strong....this is the reason he never will fight in the hw division
but...why did he lie us????

Here come the Jones haters, don't be so petty just because he's so much better than your favorite fighter.

He deadlifted, not sumo... 525, for newb lifter, that's pretty strong. I didn't look up his squats bench but as a meso/ectomorph and that 84 reach, prolly not as impressive.

He rag dolled Cormier, and seemed in the clinch to me stronger than st Preux. Dudes a freak...

He is very strong.

He is comparatively skinny and all yeah, but some people underestimate how much strength some large framed people can have. He's a tall dude, with long limbs and broad shoulders. You don't have to be a dude who looks like his muscles have been pumped up/inflated to be a strong dude.

And it is true that some people are deceptively strong, Jon may just be one of them to a certain extent.

Just like the touchbutt goat.

Conor fought fighters his size in FW and beat them in the first or dominated. Jones got a beating when he fought Gus, the only fighter close to him. Let me know how he does when he fights someone like that again.

I've always been curious about how he does against Reem in training in those positions.

Reem has always been talked about by guys that have fought him as being insanely strong in the clinch and greco positioning, and in general as just being able to toss fighters to the ground.

Jone seems insanely strong from clinch/body positioning. It really surprises guys.
