I mean, in football, you have complete freaks, guys who deadlift 600 pounds but still run a 11s 100m.
How strong and how fast do you think ufc top contenders are (a top flyweight ? a top ww ? a top hw ?)
How athletic are those guys compared to other sports' top athletes?

Not strong at all and not quick enough. I would wreck every single one of them.

So I almost don't get any serious answer.
Everyone shitting on ufc athletes' supposed E-level athleticism but noone has some figures to actually back it up.

Well, there have been guys at HW that have done very well in those combines

The thing is, these things don't really matter for MMA, especially the benching stats. There's no real benefit in MMA for benching. Look at Strong man Zaromskis (splng?) he gassed very quickly when fighting in MMA and eventually had to slim down a bit.

    It's 87%. On average.

Also UFC fighters can bench press the 275.

When those sports science people look at mma fighters they say they're comparable to pro athletes in other sports.

Smaller talent pool than other sports because you have to be willing to be punched in the face every day of training and probably get brain damage in the second half of your life if not sooner.

mma fighters are very weak and very slow compared to any other sport's athletes except maybe for curling, sometimes.
This is why the UFC is dying and why WME conned ESPN

I think the best lightweights run a 5k in ~18-20 minutes, bench 85-105kg and deadlift 155-175kg.

They are definitely equivalent to the other sports. The top 10 guys in *any* pro sport are going to seem superhuman. They are at the top for a reason, it's not chance.

The top 1% of athletes in MMA are a joke compared ot the top 1% of athletes in any other sport that requires athleticism.
