2. Nobody finishes Nate. He’s one of the most durable fighters in the UFC. Dropping Nate that many times in a fight is an accolade in itself.

3. Conor has finished in all his wins besides 2 decision victories, mostly by TKO. If you’re finishing most of your victories by KO/TKO, that’s power.

I don’t think it’s a guarantee that Conor will KO him cold, but it’s certainly not out of the question that Conor could rock Khabib and finish him.

McGregor has a good punch for MMA. It's not a great punch in absolutes, but if a guy plunges head first into your shot, you're likely to be floored. If Khabib does that, he's in trouble. Otherwise, we're clearly not talking about Julian Jackson, here. If Khabib can fight reasonably and pick his spots to get engaged with the grappling, the fight should be relatively straightforward. However, McGregor has a real counterpunch against trash strikers who run into shots, and it's not exactly clear that Khabib doesn't count himself among their ranks. Khabib doesn't have a good shot for a takedown, so generally he does need to close the distance, and there is real danger there. He'll likely overcome it, but there is real drama in the matchup before then.

Conor has solid power but he ain’t a power puncher. He rarely throws bombs at 100% like Woodley and instead looks to counter and use your forward momentum against you. (Woodley actually counters a lot now that I think about it). Conors punching is impressive either way though and he is one of the best knockout artists in the game.
