Sorry- No. Taxes are obligations. When people pay their taxes, they are meeting their obligations. Seizures are what happen after a while when people don't meet their obligations.

You have plenty of options though. You can go somewhere else with fewer or no obligations. But I am not sure you will find them to your liking unless you are already extremely wealthy. Or you can stay here and argue for fewer obligations, while meeting your current obligations.

Serious Question- Would you choose that option if you had it? I mean in this day and age- it's almost doable.

You'd have to pay rent or a mortgage, either way you are taxed. But at least that would meet your description of a voluntary tax. You could just order shit to your house. So you could certainly eat and live. But that would be it for you- you are a shut in. You could not travel on a road. Neither could your family if you have any, unless they chose to endure the 'asset seizures'. If you ever needed help for something you'd just have top pay people to come to you, and hope they could take care of you in house.

So---That's your life in exchange for no involuntary income tax seizures. It's doable, but it doesn't sound that fun to me.

I said we do have a large portion of the country running as a socialist state with people using public everything, funded by money seized from the capitalist part of the economy, and you and the fake cop with autism turned that accurate description into "get out if you don't like your money being taken and inefficiently spent on shit you don't use".

You can most certainly have tolls to pay for roads and bridges, a lot of places already do, I already have very little confidence that social security will still be around for me to collect, and would rather handle my own retirement, most people that can afford it already do send their kids to private schools over public, and would rather pay as needed for other services.

I wouldn't even mind the income tax if it were a flat tax, or a vote by income level for their own tax rates. Where it gets ridiculous is people voting for taxes on other people that don't apply to themselves.

What about a 20% Federal VAT on purchases? Now it's only on what you buy. 100% voluntary. Obviously all state and local taxes would still apply.

Not communism, I was raised by communists (i'm not a communist) and its meant to empower the workers. This is different. its Authoritarianism where the elite; ie big tech and business, educated elite, entertainment industry and government, who hold the common person and family and their values in contempt, want to reshape society where they have even more power and control and leach resources from the ordinary person. They are using the cloak of 'woke' values and 'minorities' as their useful idiots.

20% of GDP is typically what the Federal Government spends in a year.

I'd Be OK with a 20% Federal VAT to replace all personal income tax. A 15% Corporate tax rate across the board on profits over $100M with absolutely no deductions whatsoever. Capital gains of 15% on earnings over $20 million, and Estate tax of 25% on Estates over $20 million. Rich Pay more, everyone pays some, poor pay less, no more fortune 500's paying nothing, Middle class fucking explodes, and you have enough extra for a NHS.
