I know Fairtex has used nylon hanging straps since atleast 2004. This one has chains, strange....

Holy shit that looks old. Did they even call it a HB6 back then?

Damn. Might have put those chains on himself cause I can't remember the last time I saw fairtex bags with chains anything like that

The Fairtex HB6's have had a five point rivet attachment and nylon webbing for quite some time. I googled the telephone number on the bag and it came back to:

Fairtex Gyms, 444 Clementina St., S.F., (415) 512-7727. The dates were the early 2000's, and it appears to be an abandoned building now as there is nothing listed at that address. Check out this photo.

Looks pretty old. Cool photo.

That's what I thought at first, but then I notice that the current bags don't have the metal triangles that the chains are attached to.

The guy is selling the bag and the stand for $300. The stand is in rough shape also. I think I am going to pass.

I'm going to Thailand in a few months and might just pick up a Boon Sport heavy bag instead.

Great research. Thanks

Looks like the guy dragged it around and scraped the shit out of the bottom. That's a damn shame.

The bag looks like it is still, "alive and kicking." :icon_lol: Pun intended.

I guess the Balazs stand is worth $300 alone. They retail for $1300. But I really don't have a use for it.
