I've watched 182 cards, since 1993 to 2015, joined this site in 2006, have purchased less than 5 pay per views and assisted to one live event, as someone invited me. So I am a pretty cheap, but intense fan. My percentage of purchase is less than 3% of the total of the shows. I would state that my rate is still higher than the typical Sherdogger, which I calculate at 1.5% rate, since I do not stream. I had thought about promoting a boycott to the UFC for monopoly, but I wonder if Sherdog is the right audience to provide muscle to my idea. Your thoughts.

without gathering any data i would suggest that trying to promote a boycott would be a waste of your and everyone elses time man... if you don't like it don't buy it, but no one is going to follow on just because you request them to... if they want to stop then they will

I would buy every PPV twice and then the DVD if sherdog organized a boycott.

If every account (285k+) bought one PPV per year it would be $17 miles. Since 50% of those accounts are banned and 85% of the remaining accounts stream...

I'd say it'd be less than sherdog gets for plats.

I haven't bought a PPV since 2010 or so. Back when I was still in Chicago I had buddies that were also into it enough to split costs 3-4 ways on virtually every one. Out here in the Bay Area though I have yet to find anybody who's as into MMA as me, to split with.

So 2005-2010 I probably spent $100-200 per year.
2011-present I haven't spent a dime, unless you count what I've spent while out somewhere watching.

*EDIT* I just remembered I've shelled out $90 for Fight Pass this past year (first 3 months were free). Now that was worth every penny, since I never missed a live FP show no matter what time and got to re-watch so many great historical fights.

I don't buy PPV's so they get nothing from me, tbh I doubt many sherdog members regularly purchase PPVs

You're even dumber than I thought. You can't even handle a simple subtraction.

yeah that's a bit excessive but he could have a job where he can use the internet. I did the majority of my posting when I was working at the library during my college years.

Very true. I'm at a desk for about 30% of my job and I won't lie...unless my boss asks.

I imagine a lot of Sherdoggers are giving them Fight Pass money, right?
