Was. It's not all Christie's fault, so I shouldn't blame just him. The state spent all the money from the Transportation Trust Fund, so there's no way to pay road workers. However, Christie tried sneaking the bill in for approval a few days before the 4th of July, thinking that he could capitalize on the heavy traffic flow that weekend at the expense of unsuspecting residents.

5.3%. Sales taxes don't bother me so much because everyone pays them (including tourists and "undocumented migrants"). I am really sick of how high income tax is though.
