How many of the McGregor/Diaz 2 complaints are from people who like that Conor lost, and they don't want him to have a chance to avenge it? It seems like a lot.

As fans, ultimately what should be most important is exciting fights and competitive fights. A McGregor/Diaz rematch has both of those things in spades, so I don't see how fans could be too upset about this.

I think most people just see it for what it is. A UFC cash grab and nothing more. There is no point to a rematch. If Conor can't move back to defend at FW, he should be stripped of the title. Then he'll be free to take as many "fun" fights as he likes.

Actually, I think Nate whips his ass again. I don't blame either fighter for this. Kudos to Conor for wanting to get that back, and why shouldn't Diaz take this fight on a full camp? That was his biggest payday and now he has even more leverage. He has the McGregor belt.

You conor fans are ruining the fucking sport, it's a joke of a rematch because your boy is champ of one weight class but he doesn't want to defend it and lose it to frankie so he's gonna go get his ads beat against Diaz again so he can keep his fake title


Also a fucking champ that has never defended gets an immediate rematch but one of the most dominant camps ever doesn't how does that logic add up

I don't read everything on the forums, but I think it's more the reception you've been receiving: a combination of annoyance from another immediate rematch and Mac (though it might be more Dana & Co's pushing around of Silva & Shelby) holding the FW division hostage. Plus, this is at WW, and not on short notice so I can't imagine a single scared hater existing.

Why the fuck have a rematch for a non-title fight?

Conor should defend his belt next or vacate it.

Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy watching Conor get bitchslapped down again but this doesn't help with the perception that the UFC has no integrity when it comes to their responsibility to fairness in the sport.

The same people who say Aldo, who was the UFC FW champion for its entire duration and lost in a 13 sec flash KO is undeserving of a rematch even though pretty much every other however short-reign champion gets one?
