It doesn't seem like he has taken an incredible amount of damage in his fights or anything but.. he has taken alot none the less. He is 36 and approaching that age....

brutal war with Thiago Alves... flashed koed by Paulo Thiago, Koed by Woodley and Tkoed by Robbie Lawler... years of hard training and a bunch of close tough fights..


How long till Koscheck calls it quits??

He's just fought two killers recently. He's still a good fighter imo. His striking is just quite overrated.. imo again.
 
I would be happy for him to have the good sense to call it quits, especially since two of his last three losses involved him getting punched in the head until his body stopped moving. He could probably still work as a wrestling coach or something of that nature.
 
Im not saying he isn't still a great fighter or anything. I think he will always be a threat and always on to the verge of being a top 5 WW. Hes just... 36 and taken some damage now

He's a cheater, fake eye pokes and knees...
 
Before Lawler he had about 6-7 fights left, after probably around 3. Now after Woodley...retirement sounds about right.
 
His last three fights were against the two guys currently fighting for the WW strap and the former strikeforce WW king. All three of which have serious knockout power.

Yeah, he's getting old, but he's been facing some REALLY tough guys lately

I hate Kos so I would like him to continue fighting because he is clearly past his prime and I would like to see more L's tacked on to his record.
 
GSP destroyed his eye socket and put him on the shelf for a year. He's been KOed twice since then. Coincidence?
 
Wasted potential imo. Sure he was a top 5 ww for a long time but he has way too much confidence in his striking, I wish we just used it to setup his strengths. Prime Kos takes anyone down.
 
Kos's chin has turned to absolute glass. He would get KOd by anyone with any kind of reel pauer.

The guy has no chin and is already rich so I dont think he will ever reach the same peak ever again.

Kos is done.
 
one fight, a rematch with paulo thiago. then call it a career.
