We must all agree regardless on how they fight, if they lose 6 in a row they should be cut. But where do you draw the line 2,3,4,5 loses in a row.

If he's top 10, I'd say 1 or possibly 0 if Dana doesn't really like him.

There's no right answer. Any number is arbitrary, though I would agree that it's hard to argue with six or more. Whatever number you choose there will be many unhappy people.

Why have a set rule?

If a fighter isn't marketable and profitable, then he should be cut if a better option is available.

It's really hard to say because each fight has so many variables, but I'd say if you lose 5 in a row, there is really no excuse.

But if Silva lost to Bonnar fair and square and then went on to lose to Cung Le by TKO as well, he could conceivably be cut after two losses. Even after going 15-0 or however many he's won. Which is why it's hard to put a number on it.

there shouldn't be a set number, that's stupid. I should be relative to the competition they face.

There is no number, all fights and opponents are different in terms of merit. A close decision loss to cain would not be equal to getting subbed by lavar johnson.

Gotta be 5, right? Because 4 losses in a row, thats pretty solid.

If youre top 10, you cant be cut.
If youre ranked 10-20, you have 3 strikes.
If youre ranked sub 20, you have 2 strikes.

*if youre a former ufc champion, or win 10 UFC fights, you have lifetime membership (tho your pay might decrease)
*if youre a TUF champion or runner up, you have 2 free "that loss didnt count" cards. Which can be redeemed in the event of a losing streak

Thems the rules

It depends on how the said fighter lost, if a guy was brutally ko'd 3 times in a row I have no problem with an organization cutting him. If he's a top 15 guy and was decisioned a few times and mix in a ko that should be taken into consideration as well.

You can't really have set number, it really depends on who they fought. A loss to say Jon Jones is not as bad as a loss to Bader.

They should start cutting fighters after 1 win, that way all fights will end with a stoppage and Sherdoggers can finally quit complaining about decisions.
