2 training sessions a day mon-tue-wed-thur

and three hours on sundays.

soon also i'll be doing a third training session on mondays and tuesdays

I dont know how many times I do the kicks I do

but on all training days I do

Front kick (head, body, thigh), Side kick ( knee, waist), Crescent kicks (inside and outside),
Round house (knee, thigh, hip, waist), Axe Kick, Rib/toe kick, Groin kick, Jumping Front kicks, Spining (Side, back and crescent) and Turning Side kicks.

thats about it for the kicks.

I just keep at it untill im too tired to kick

uhhh i do a lot of sparing in the evenings...i throw
Round House kicks Low-Mid-High
Side kicks
Spining heel kicks
Spining creasent kicks
Axe kicks

well first we warm up doing 2-3 of each kick + knees so thats like 30 kicks then endurance combos (e.g. double front, left high, right high, double round):2x8;2x16;2x20;2x24

then we do something we call "2 to 10, 10 to 2" that is 2 roundhouse kicks, 1 second rest, 4 roundhouse kicks, 1 sec rest, then 6,8... etc up to 10, then back down to 2 with 1 sec rest between each set: so thats 60 round houses on each leg

after all that we mix it up with hands and legs so its hard to count kicks after that but i would say all up for a training session around 400+ kicks

I aim for 1000 kicks every time I train. I don't always manage it.

This includes all the leg swings, kicks I do during warmup with half the power, sparring, bagwork, everything.

1000 is a good number. On some days, I only get up to 700 or so. Less than that is very unlikely, barring injuries.

when i did muay thai we did alot of kicks.. I remember doing at least a set of 55 per round (1,2,3......10) non stop, and i would say we kicked about 10~20 more times depending on the person..that was taxing. And we did at least 3 rounds of that ( if not more). So we would do 65~75 *3 which was 195~225 and that was after doing a few rounds on the heavy bag.. (Looking back i am amazed that a 120 kg out of shape guy could kick this much)...kicking was always relaxing for me so i would say i kicked around 500 times iirc.

I don't really count. Just do whatever kicks as hard as I can until I'm tired, then we switch to doing 3 sets of 50 hopping roundhouses as fast as you can per side.

I probably don't do much more than a hundred a day. (I'm definately more of a puncher) But I make sure every one of those kicks are as close to perfect as I can do.

Usually, including warm-up/drilling/timing/conditioning it was probably around 300-400. But Lately we have been adding stair-steppers to the normal sessions, so the amount has gone way up. We do up to 10 then down with each leg for two rounds, so I guess thats 440 for that excercise. You do the first 220 non stop, hold for your partner, then switch and do the other 220.

They are pretty cool. If you don't do them already I would recommend it.

oh yea on certain days we would go from one to ten and then back to one... those would kill me.....

Since I am older now and longer fight I do only about 100 a day. When I was fighting I used to throw about 700 a day before I started to train on fighting.

There is no secrete to kicking, you just have to do it all of the time.

im not actually focusing on the number when i kick
Yeah, you shouldn't. I just counted a couple of times for fun.

Still, it's an interesting number.

i do kicks everyday.

I do 50 leg kicks each leg
i do 50 mid kicks each leg
25 high kicks right leg
i also train knees and soccer kicks for about a half hour each

if i had to guess id say it'd be...

OVER NINE THOSUADNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't count except my 100 hard kciks with each leg at the heavy bag after my morning run for shin conditioning. Other then that I just train and dont count. I would be interested to see how many I throw in a given workout though, maybe I should count one of these days.
