He’s 35 and doesn’t have many years left. He has another match before this year ends which is this summer against Stipe. I’m already counting this is an automatic win for him. I don’t see how Stipe can win.

Francis will not come back according to Dana. The only HW that has a chance after Stipe is Sergei Pavlovich. If Jones beats Sergei, there’s nobody else and he can retire from there unless if DC comes back to fight him at HW and they give him that opportunity.

Jones will hand pick a 41 year old Stipe. Another hand picked opponent. Another guy with 0 TDD.

I think he will fight at least 2-3 fights.

Stipe

Then at least 2 contenders.

It's easy money for Jones. And MMA is his life, can you imagine his lifestyle without any MMA? He's trying to end the MMA GOAT debate (which he sorta did for many people).

Just Stipe and then retires. He wants Stipe specifically as one final dunk on Cormier and a win over the guy that the UFC always bills as the "Heavyweight GOAT".

Nobody else does anything for his legacy at this point.

If he fights twice a year, I'd say 2 or 3 defenses, and then he's done.

Probably attempts to HW title defence record. Some good contenders to build his legacy at HW: Aspinall, Blaydes, and Pavlovich. If Jiri could take out a few contenders he could move up to challenge. The return of Ngannou would be the best name to add to his resume. Dana did his best to properly torch that bridge, but if there are dollar signs around it, or Jones starts to speak out against Dana, I’m sure we’ll see him back.

It took him 11 years of talking before he was willing to fight one.

So, none.

I think he fights old man Stipe then retires.
this is exactly what I’m thinking. I just hope they don’t wait long before getting that fight on the schedule. No reason not to have it before the end of the year.

Its going to be July from everything I'm hearing. International fight week.

this is my thought too.

Jones does either three or four defenses, depending on whether he wants to top Stipe’s three consecutive defenses at HW or his four total defenses at HW. maybe four for good measure lol.
