How Many High paying sports can a 125 pound man compete at the Top Level ?

How many high paying sports WITHOUT WEIGHT CLASSES can a 125 pound man compete at the highest level at ?

NFL nope
NBA nope
Baseball nope
Ice hockey nope
even Soccer and tennis are out

outside of combat sports which have weight categories there are very very few high paying professional sporting options

No one gets rich from the other possibiilties like weightlifitng, gymnastics, olympic wrestling etc

If any of those sports implemented height/weight restrictions, this would be a good comparison, but they don't.

Soccer is most certainly not out. Also, DJ, along with the rest of the flyweights, weighs about 140/145lbs, not 125.

Muggsey was very short, but thick as fuck. No way on Earth he makes 125. Soccer and baseball I could imagine it, but still highly unlikely. Mostly 'sports' like horse racing and racecar driving, if they count. Golf too I guess.

Muggsy is consistency listed around 136-137 lbs. he could make 125.

Even Spud Webb is listed lighter than Muggsy although he was 4 inches taller.

There are plenty of players around Webb’s size that have had long careers in the NBA.

Seriously, If you want to hate, don't talk like a ignorant fuckhead.
Soccer: Lionel Messi, Pele, Ronaldo (both from Brazil and Portugal) were all teenagers when they exploded and became the fenom they are.
Now, as adults they weigh about 150 lBS. And in every case, that is without weight cutting, a thing that virtually every fighter does.

And let us recall that Messi had to take growth hormone injections to become giant he is today.
Neymar, is also light (150Lb).
Romario, another Brazilian megastar (who won the World Cup for Brazil in US) is shorter (and was lighter) than Messi.
Clearly all of them could cut to 125Lbs if their sport required them to.

So please STFU before talking about things you clearly do not know about and just to hate on guys whom you obviously envy.

Listed weights in basketball are completely made up. But whatever. I do think Spud would have had an easier time. He was short and skinny as hell.

MLB player with a .1000 lifetime on base percentage (never gotten out in his career!) 3'7" 65 pound Eddie Gaedel.

Being realistic, for American athletes there are substantially fewer options for success for athletes who can make it to 125 lbs, or for that matter any weight class at LW or lower, without removal of limbs and getting body fat percentage to 0.0001% or draining out water until they resemble beef jerky. Basketball is a possibility for a select set of prodigies but it's an awfully small number who could ever get the athleticism and skills to hang with the six and a half footers. Football? Not really; even among receivers and defensive backs, most of them are 190 to 220 lbs or so. Baseball may be one but at that size you\re most likely not gonna become a Barry Bonds or mark McGuire type power hitter.

The notion of smaller guys having way fewer options is not entirely wrong. What seems to be missed is that it's not a knock on Mighty Mouse. It's the opposite; since it means the other fighters in the LW to FlyW weight classes are also going to more likely be genuinely great athletes who were not gonna have a future in football or basketball regardless of skills. Which can make them a hell of a lot tougher than the HW division.
