I don't expect an honest answer here from Sherdoggers but I've noticed some serious Conor bandwagon fans remove their avs and sigs lol

Not sure if it's bannable to call them out.

Despite my letting him have it here and there, I AM a fan of Conors.

I think overall the guy is FANTASTIC for the sport - he brings a ton of attention and there's no question he has increased the casual fan-base numbers with his brash, outspoken nature and crazy antics.

Not to mention, he DOES come to fight! Even those who hate him can NEVER say this guy has a BORING fight style. Win or lose, he comes to throw down.

BUT - If he talks mad shit, and gets lit the f up, I am not going to sit quietly and not have a chuckle over it. Same goes for ANY fighter out there.

Only the ones who were never really fans in the first place

judging by the fact that the forum is no longer a wall of conor worship, safe to say most of them.

but that was to be expected - you could tell even beforehand that most of these guys were just along for the ride.

The only thing that could possibly make this better is if he loses at 145 and is held to 0 defenses.

Well, I am a hater obviously thanks to Sherdog and their rabid nuthugging.

But he is legit and no boring for sure, but glad Nate served him humble pie. Sherdog is normal again until Conor wins a match.

His fights are more exciting than anyone else. I am a fan win, lose or draw.

Love him more than ever.

Dude handled the defeat near-perfectly. Stuff like admitting he panicked and lost the mental war to Nate just makes me respect him more for his fearless honesty.

I'm a fan but I also have a sense of humor. The shoops are fucking funny, and him talking shit and getting his ass kicked is funny, too. It's impossible not to respond to some 2015/2016 noob making excuses by posting a shoop of him getting a pie slapped in his face by Nate, or a gif one of those Irish flag waving casuals. I still hope he holds onto his belt.

Most of them. Did you hear the boos when they interviewed him after the fight?

I'm not sure why anyone's thoughts on Conor should really change at all.

The stand up guy you saw at the post fight conference is the real Conor. If anyone ever watched Aerial's like hour long walk around Ireland with Conor before he headlined the arena over there you got to see the real Conor.

His shit talking is nothing more than selling himself. Guys like him make fans and nonfans care. It doesn't matter if you hate him or love him he makes you have an opinion of him outside of...."he is good fighter".

This sport needs 10 Conor's in it.

'avent joomped anywhere Ido hasnt told me to.

The more vocal fans have quietened down, that's all.

McGregor impressed me even in defeat. Took a fight he didn't have to against a tough guy, at a weight he doesn't ordinarily compete at, and was humble after he was submitted.

Once he strings together a couple of wins the hype-train will be chugging along at full speed again.

It's probably proportional to all the new: 209, Stockton or Diaz oriented avatars and accounts showing up.

not many. I think he is also gaining fans from how he is handling the loss

the ones that ship over arent probably even here anymore
