Shit I remember playing that when I was like 10?

    I'm 39. I was in middle school I think. Sonic 2 I think.

36 here, still play. Nowhere near as much as I used to, bit I still put up 10-12 hours a week. I'll probably keep it up for this console generation than hang it up.

I play more than ever now. There was a time when I slowed down a lot. My gaming PC wasn't up to snuff anymore and I didn't want to keep playing games on it. Then one day I saw my friend playing Gears of War and it looked really fun. Got on my PC and played the game and it was fun, also played Mass Effect and wanted more immediately but I hated my PC. Got an Xbox 360 and I've been playing games a lot since then. Slowed down a bit more towards the end of the 360 gen and picked right back up when PS4 came out.

I am in my 50's and I usually play for 30 mins or so after work. Usually Doom, lots of the time online fighting with other players. Sometimes I deathmatch with my granddaughter.
I use it to go from work mode to home mode. By killing stuff.

I'm well over 40, and I don't play as much as I used too, when I was growing up I used to love playing video games.

I do have a PS4 now, but I don't have many games for it, All I have are:

    The last of us remastered
    Uncharted 4
    NBA 2k16
    NBA 2k17
    NBA 2k19
    UFC 3
    Fallout 4

thats it, thats all I have. And I don't plan to buy anymore. I just play occasionally when I feel like it, I do like the basketball games the most. My son has a Switch, I used it a few times, its ok but a bit too childish, but I can see why he loves it.

Probably forever. My level of interest is definitely lower than it used to be, but I can't see stopping entirely.

In fact I just bought a switch. Was watching my roommate and his girl play, and they have Nintendo and super Nintendo games on there now. That's all I needed to hear.

35 here. The latest console I own is the Xbox 360. I have yet to get the Xbox One and I don't think I ever will. I might buy the next Microsoft console that comes out but I'm leaning towards not doing so. I'm mainly a PC person myself, build my own computers and even then I don't play computer games much.

My nephew's have a Switch and I love playing Mario Tennis and Mario Kart on it with them.

38 now, I travel alot (like 300+ days a year) and I pack a PS4 with me. I play in my hotel at night since I hate watching tv. If I didn't game on the road I would probably drink myself to death so I'll keep it up.
When I'm home my kids will kick my ass at Mario Kart until I pout and storm out.

Will you ever stop listening to music or watching movies? Video games are just another form of entertainment for me. I can't see ever stopping. My tastes my change (just like the others) but I'll always play them in some form.

I quit playing awhile ago but I'll probably pick it again when I'm in my 70s and 80s and less mobile.

34, and I've definitely slowed down as the years have gone on. I still occasionally play, but not really enough to justify buying a new console. Yet, that hasn't stopped me before.

I told myself during the 360/PS3/Wii era that I wasn't moving on to the next generation, yet here I am and I own an Xbox One and PS4. Not even sure why I got the PS4 because I virtually only use it as a Blu Ray player to watch movies. Damn Black Friday deals. I maybe play on the Xbox once or twice a week.

I keep eyeballing a Switch at the stores, but I've been good at stopping myself. I've told myself before I wasn't moving on to next gen, and I actually feel it to be true this time. But who knows? I'm like Jekyll and Hyde when it comes to this shit.

I still own an NES, SNES, and Genesis, and I don't see myself ever parting with those. I'll always have the classics at least.

Long story short, I'm buying a Switch tomorrow.
