I buy fresh chicken from the deli counter at the supermarket every weekend(boneless, skinless). I marinate it in teriyaki for 1-2 days. I then cook it on my bbq outside. Then I cut it up and put it into sealed plastic containers for my lunch for the week. My question and concern is, "How long is the chicken good for once it is cooked, then refridgeerated?". I would like to cook in quantity if possible, but do not want to cook too much to where it will go bad. How many servings(by day) would many of you suggest I cook at one time?

I would just cook it for no more than 5 days or so. I don't know exactly but I like to have semi-fresh chicken.

Yeah, I don't let it go for anymore than a week. I store mine with veggies and if its getting old I'll see a bit of mold around the veggies but this is normally if I forget it and its like a week and a half. I also salt it a lot though so i don't know if that preserves it at all.
