If he can't even make 155, idk how long he'll be able to stay at 145.

I know it was one week notice but you were 185? you cut 40lbs to make weight...that's way too extreme imo He won't be able to keep that up..he's young now but over time that will break him

From what I read he was likely going to make the weight but it was called off by the doctors. I also heard he kind lets go if he doesn't have anything booked.

Are we really discussing his weight because of this incident? Guys a fucking twig, he can stay at 145.

Yeah man I have no idea how this guy cuts 40 lbs for a fight. I'm 6 ft 175 and I workout regularly, especially cardio I can't imagine what I'd have to do to cut my weight to 145. Obviously he is a pro athlete and has a different body type than I do but man from my perspective that big of a weight cut is ridiculous.

He’ll stay at featherweight for three hundred and fifty more days.

Same day weigh ins would solve a lot of problems

15 years ago when weight cutting started becoming more "professional" (for lack of a better term) in the UFC, there were lots of threads asking "should the ability to cut lots of weight really be the most important skillset in fighting? is that what we want out of this sport?"

the question still stands.

well, maybe this weekend will be the final push that CSAC 10 point plan needs to get introduced into the next set of Unified Rules.
