How likely are you to purchase a future PPV headlined by Cormier?

Taking into account his entire category of fights or if you want to base it on a sole performance then that's up to you. For the sake of the topic assume there's a decent to solid undercard but DC's fight is by far the main draw of it.

Traditional wrestle boxer style at an elite level; emphatic takedowns, heavy pressure, suffocating top control, volume over power gnp, infrequent passes, infrequent sub attempts, average cardio, tight boxing, and so on.

Most likely path for a good DC fight is facing an opponent that can stop the TDs or make him struggle mightily. With Jones gone that seemingly only leaves Gus that's up to snuff.

Personally I can only see myself buying a DC/Gus II PPV and Alexander would have to be riding alot of momentum.

Depends on how gotten to he is.

:>

I assume he's fighting the winner of Glover/Rumble. I will definitely watch that.

In this thread we all pretend like 97.3% of Sherdog doesn't stream fights.

I don't buy ppv's anymore. I get ripped off enough when i go to UFC events.

He's the legitimized uncontested LHW champ, the greatest LHW in UFC history in fact. I plan on purchasing all of his future PPVs.

I'm a fan of DC's and appreciate all he brings to the table as a champion.

Crazy good wrestling, and usually puts a beatdown on most folks he fights. The Gus fight was an absolute war.

I will certainly watch all of his fights.

I ain't never once paid for drugs so I can't say but Cormier is champion and my favorite fighters are in contention so if Rumble or Gus fight him then I'm watching but if he wasn't champion and the card was weak then obviously not gonna care much.

Of course. He is usually exciting and the fight agaist Silva wasn't as boring as a lot of people say

I bought UFC 177 so its safe to say I will buy any Cormier fight.

I was at the show live. I boo'd him and chanted stand them up alongside the entire arena.

he had a chance to make fans out if everyone last night. win or lose, if he made it exciting the world wouldve loved him. instead he grinded out a boring win and guaranteed nobody will ever want to see his matches. ever.

lost all love and respect for him. hope the win was worth it. he'll always be a paper champ living in the shadow of a true great. always be second best.

Yes, the Gus fight was one of the best LHW 5 rounders period. I'm not sure it can be replicated in a rematch though.

It only turned into a great fight because stuffed DC in the second round. After DC got Gus down in the first round he attempted no passes or any real gnp for 4+ minutes. It seemed like the gameplan was to grind him out.

With a couple of undercard fights I want to see, yeah

You have to remember that even though he has been in a few stinkers his fights are usually entertaining

He is perhaps the greatest non cheating fighter ever.

0% chance unless his opponent is Jon Jones.
