Could have something to do with getting dominated in his last fight?

He needs better management pure and simple.

He’s a fighter to the core which you have to appreciate as a fan. Unfortunately his ability to “play the game” just isn’t there.

He's on a one fight losing streak. Dustin and Conor are on one fight winning streaks.

This. If the guy who dominated him is not in the immediate title picture, why would Tony be?

Conor’s streak is in a different weight class. If you have not won a fight in your division in more than four years, you should not get an immediate title shot.

His only win in the current top 10 is FKL, who's lost 4 of his last 6, and he got dropped and mounted in that fight until FKL gassed. The only guy he's faced in the current top 5 dominated him. Maybe if he beats Hooker or Oliveira, he'll be in the discussion.

Justin took at least 7 years off Tony’s life. Those are the kind of ass whipping’s that can change a fighter.

Let’s give Tony an easier fight first. Make sure he’s ready.

With another win, tony should be in contention. Yeah he lost to justin, but justin just lost. So again were looking at poirier, mcGregor, chandler, olivera, tony and ferreria. With gaethje and hooker a not far behind.

    Tony vs Oliveria
    Mcgregor v Poirier
    Chandler v Ferreria
    Justin v Hooker

Seems like the perfect conditions for an 8 man LW tournament to determine the new champion.
