They pretty much wiped out all Iran's defence as it seen by Iran employing flak guns in their defence, which are basically ineffectual, but visible to the home audience.

Iran claims 2 Israeli jets shot down, but not confirmed. All of Iran's jets were taken out.

With the drone attack in Russia and now weeks later this, we are seeing what modern war involving top tier actors will involve. War has changed!

It's warfare changing dramatically. It would the same if we went to war with China, I have no doubt there are spec ops within the US etc with drone swarm tech.

It looks like warfare is moving away from infantry and armour. Special operatives in small teams, drone tech and then backed up by air power and long range ballistics.

Money spent is the issue. It's very cheap to create a kamakazi drone and it can take out a multi million dollar ballistic missile with operators safe 60 miles away.

It may be that we need a police state with everyone tracked to stop infiltration to protect assets. AI based observation systems at least and the latest direct energy systems could protect assets but they can be easily overwhelmed with a swarm. Defensive AI controlled swarms might be a method, creating a bubble of protection around valuable assets.

But it's all changing rapidly and the war is showing it. A race to do the most dollar damage for the least, and to control the skies.
