He's fearless. Keeps his hands low. Has absolutely no fear of someone counter striking him. WTF? He definitely picks his shots but still. Damn impressive...

Practice and confidence. Be interesting how he looks vs Nate coming off that loss.

Regardless of what people think about the guy he is as legit a fighter as they come. Hype is totally justified.

Cuz he spends all his time on standup and not his BJJ/grappling?

Straight from JT RIPPER who's around Conor 24/7 so knows exactly what he's doing. Dillon Danis, world renowned striker.

I think even with his striking he still has a lot of improving to do. If you're in MMA, improvement is the name of the game, imo, and I think in most fans minds or anyone who does Martial Arts.

Obviously because he talks a lot people like to dissect his skill set. But there's no fighter out there who doesn't have flaws or isn't on the same level as another fighter in one aspect of their game. It'll be interesting to see the next wave of Irish fighters and fighters from other parts of the world who'll have pretty strong bases in BJJ, grappling and striking.

I'm amazed it's gotten this far in this thread without someone going: "Nah his stand up is shit."

Its more that everyone is more or less terrible...like really bad

You could even tell by his reaction when Nate hit him that he'd never been hit before in his life. Conors eyes looked like he became instantly retarded after being hit

I think Nate spared with Andre Ward or something, kinda on another level - faster, quicker, hits harder, nothing Conor can do that Nate hasn't seen 10x better in sparring partners before

    This won't end well
