How important was the 1st round for Cain in that rematch?

Huge. The round set the pace for the entire fight. Cain landed some bombs in that round.
 
That strategy of spamming TDs was executed perfectly down to a T.

I wonder if he'll do it again?
 
JDS was still losing the round before he got knocked down. I think the fight will be competitive for 2 rounds. Cain takes over after that. I can't see JDS keeping the same pace with Cain for more than 2 rounds. I also can't see Cain getting knocked out again.
 
See some people see that as desperation by Cain. While I think he wanted to get the fight to the ground, He also wanted it cemented in JDS head that he was gonna do anything to get the fight to the ground. That opened up JDS striking Defense, and Cain has very fast hands, even if he isnt as technical as JDS Cain capitalized on the openings. Now the question is, does JDS, respect Cain's hands to the point he will be suceptible to the takedown in the 3rd fight.
