I'm just happy that Anderson is willing to fight the champs and contenders that GSP was clearly afraid of
 
It was a safe claim for Dana to make because Anderson isn't winning the fight. He's old and really shouldn't be fight the up and comers anymore
 
Should add that he doesn’t deserve it at all. The dick pills thing doesn’t matter.
 
6 fights, 4 losses, one no contest, one win. Throw in 2 roid busts.

i dont mind just cuz whittaker has fought the top guys thus far, and if israel loses to andy their isnt really any1 else aside from jacare, whos been long overdude for a title shot. felt that both split decs he lost should have gone his way. the whittaker loss is his only slip up imo. at his age and how he keeps stacking Ws against top 10 guys, he deserves his shot just like maia got his

so if andy wins im cool with whittaker playing around with him for 5 rounds, but jacare HAS to get the next shot. no question

He’s definitely more of fighter than GSP but he has a lot less to lose legacy wise considering how the last few years have gone for him.
 
I expect him to get destroyed in this fight, but if he wins I really expect him to get destroyed against Whittaker. I'll eat crow if he somehow pulls off the impossible though.
 
Definitely dont think he deserves based on the recent bust, his one sketchy win over derek Brunson and the inactivity. But also i can concede an argument based on his legend status claim to being GOAT middleweight
 
I'm going to try to answer "without" being an asshole and using this to rag on a different fighter.

Sure why not? If he can win let him have a shot at the title.

Anderson is doing this to try to regain his legacy which is tarnished by losses and roid busts. GSP doesn't need to because he never tarnished his legacy. As far as GSP moving up and fighting the champion a weight class higher, Anderson never did that either, and never wanted to. He never wanted to fight Chuck or Jones; GSP accomplished everything that Anderson did and more. The fact that GSP never fought Anderson just means that he did the same thing Anderson did.

Anderson has been calling out GSP and (lol) Conor lately. Awfully brave to call out smaller guys.
 
SUPER pumped he is back (hopefully clean) but no way, shape or form is he deserving of a TS over Adesanya
 
The man gave us violence porn over a division that ppl overlook bc he was dusting motherfuckers with style.

He beats the next god tier striker, he undoubtedly deserves a title shot. He, GSP, Fedor Cyborg have such long reigns that you can't say they dont have the right to jump the line if they are willing to fight top fighters.
I'd give him a chance at it before he hangs up the web slingers, he made concussions into artwork.

exactly. the ufc have been hyping the fuck out of israel. its a very dangerous but exciting fight for Anderson
I'm not sure who the WW equivalent of israel would be.. but it would be awesome if GSP were take take similar risky fights against usman, ponzi or even colby and be the GOAT of our entertainment. (not that he would need to even take one of these fights to get a title shot, Woodley would fight him immediately)

instead gsp chooses to hide behind his record and have his legion of fanboys claim he wins ANY fight (hypothetically of course).
