Has BJJ benefitted your life? I want to write an article with short stories from people who have benefitted by doing BJJ (some good news).
If you want to contribute please send me 1-3 paragraphs about what BJJ has done for you and I would love to publish it.
Send to [email protected]

Thanks

I went from an unathletic kid who played video games all day to a professional athlete. It gives me a reason to eat healthy and stay in great physical shape. It keeps me sane so that I can deal with life's other hardships. I met great people, some of my best friends, I met the girl I'm going to marry. I decided on my next career path through jiu jitsu.

Pretty much everything good in my life came because I starting jiu jitsu

It helped me defeat larger and stronger opponents using the magical jedi-like technique of "leverage".

i finally was able to quit smoking and began jiu jitsu, and have never smoked again. I smoked for 16 years and never intend on smoking again, and it's been over a year now. I am in pretty good shape, it gives me something to think about, I am making friends, and having fun.

Helped me quit smoking and probably saved me years of life.
I stopped drinking and getting in stupid situations.
It made me less violent.

All around good shit.

Jiu jitsu has enabled me to berimbolo clueless children in a judo class.
