He easily handled a very dangerous Hunt tonight after 5 years away and no tune-up fights.

Got sick while he was the champ, I think.

How high up the HW GOAT rankings could Brock have gone if he never got sick?

agreed. I think Bork is dangerous for anyone ever. I do think that Werdum and Cain will always be nightmares for him though.
 
You talk like Cain wouldn't be him the same way.

Brock is just a better fighter than Hunt, Hunt is not a grappler and was dwarfed by Brock. This was the predictable result, Hunt having titanium skull is the only reason it didn't look brutal because he ate some shots.
 
He's terrified of getting punch still. JDS would probably beat pick him apart and stop his takedowns.
 
He's still too one dimensional.

The Brock was sick excuse is bullshit. Cain & Overeem (and Werdum) beat any version of Brock any time.
 
just imagine if Brock took up mma in his early 20s

no surprise they choose him
he also looked tired after one round
hes almost 40
 
Cain and Overeem still destroy him rather easily. At this point Brock loses to any of the top 5 HW's rather easily.
