How good is Jose Aldo's ground game?

Can Jose Aldo beat Brian Ortega and Thiago Tavares in a pure BJJ match?

I've heard he's BJJ black belt.

Someone once implied his grappling is better than BJJ black belt 3rd-degree practitioner in Thiago Tavares.

Jose Aldo is primarily a striker. So I doubt he has that offensive aspect of BJJ ready to use like

real grapplers do.(Brian Ortega, Thiago Tavares)

By looking at just BJJ skills,

How is his BJJ compared to that of Brian Ortega and Thiago Tavares?

Edit:
Jose Aldo is good enough to defend himself against these two BJJ specialists on the ground.
Because he was three times BJJ world champ himself in the past,
he won't get submitted on the ground.
However, I still doubt he will dominate them either because he was BJJ practitioner a decade ago.

Last time I seen it, he just laid there.

To be honest i dont even remember the last time i saw aldo on the ground

better than Ortega, Aldo submitted Paddy Holohan under metamoris rules.

His ground game is famous because he submitted TJ Dillashaw's Brazilian cousin.

Well TS if you aren't familiar with "Cobrinha" he is a BJJ legend who is the coach of Fabricio Werdum. Aldo defeated Cobrinha in BJJ.

Well he manhandled Mike Brown who was strong as FUCK, and KZ who is hella crafty and always game.

Those are the only 2 times i can remember him agreeing to have a ground fight and winning.

So are you actually saying Jose can outgrapple Brian Ortega and Thiago Tavares in pure BJJ match?

He's among the best in the UFC.
He actually started with BJJ before striking.

He got the best of every fighter on the ground since his WEC years.
He's also good avoiding damage from the bottom, kinda like Anderson Silva.

But he's no Demian/Jacaré though

lmao jesus christ dude give it a rest.

trying to talk tavares up every time i see you, trying to make choi's win look better.

I also wonder the same thing TS.

His guard passing and explosion into mount is super slick
