Where does he rank amongst LHW prospects? Hes 25yo, 14-3, and about to face Glover in the Miami card.

GOAT material after already established GOATs like Johnny Walker, Dominick Reyes and Alexandar Rakic.

Very entertaining fighter

Also really young (like 24 or 25 iirc) with already a lot of experience and a lot more time to develop

Best there is, best there was and the best that ever will be.

The excellence of execution.

Good enough that he painted his entire body green....his ENTIRE body.

Anyway he fights as an avatar of the Just Bleed God, so I will root for this crazy motherfucker WAR Cutelaba

He’s exciting for sure but I don’t expect him to get too far

That Canadian fraud had his way with him.. I’ll say no more

Rematch might look alot different.

Misha has seemed to regress since then. Ion is an animal and I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Glover.

he’s a berserker for sure

I don’t see him going too far though tbh

considering his style and tendencies

I mean he’s powerful, but his frame could probably make a cut to MW

age is on his side at LHW, for sure

Not so much regress, but lost confidence after his chin was exposed

He was 22 and it was his first fight in the UFC. Holloway was losing to Leonard Garcia at that stage in his career.

Not seen much in the way of improvement though?
He either bum rushes in the first round or loses a decision

I thought his clinch game looked way better vs Antigulov than it did vs Cirkunov. As did his ability to get back to his feet. Wrist control, active hips, underhook. Before it was all brute strength.

The Glover fight is interesting because Cutelaba stills doesn't have great takedown defense & Glover is most dangerous from top position. Great year imo

Seen him fight live in Calgary ...Tough as nails . Will win

I dunno, mind.
That KO to Volkan was one of those punches just behind the ear. Those strikes seem to make even the toughest fighter wobbly.
His loss to Glover was a bit pitiful though. Glover beat him in a 'there's-levels-to-this-shit' way.
Speaking of, Ion should win this in the first round. Glover is looking old and slow. Ion could follow the Rumble blueprint and KO Glover easily.
