A divorce doesn’t mean war. When my brother and his wife went their separate ways they didn’t hate each other, they simply decided they were better off on their own. They didn’t hire lawyers and they split assets without any kind of mediation.

Bill Gates is worth north of 100 billions though. That 1.8 B in shares is not significant. Also if they are parting on good terms why not? She was by his side for over 25 years.

they have a "separation contract", the divorce isn't being contested which aids the conspiracy theory, although to be a "conspiracy" theory there has to be an agreement to commit a future crime and im not sure what's criminal about this unless maybe insider trading
