I've seen a couple of tag team matches. Not the lame 5 on 5 free-for-all that gets bounced around, but honest to god tag matches. One person in at a time. The ref stopped the action when one would tag out, kind of like a stand-up.

I was skeptical, but the result was incredible. The ability to tag out meant that fighters went all out, guns blazing, because if they got tired they could stop and rest. If they got in trouble they could tag out. It was the most excitement I've ever had while watching combat sports. There is tremendous potential there, if a promoter could get over the idea of it being our spectacle.
