Conor MIGHT do a couple more money fights - three tops - and then get out of fighting. Even if Vick were to somehow pull off the remarkable and become a big draw money-fight fighter - which I doubt will happen - by the time that happens Conor will have retired. But even if Conor hasn't retired by then, a fight with Vick will never be a fight that arouses Conor's interest, and the UFC can't tell Conor who to fight at this stage of his career. He's just too rich and too I-Don't-Give-a-Fuck.

Far. James Vick is unknown to the casual fan base. Assuming he beats Felder, I'd match him up against the Chiesa/Pettis fight winner. That's already 2 fights, if he manages to win them, he will probably get matched-up against a fighter on the level of Gaethje or Barboza, maybe Lee, Poirier, Alvarez or Ferguson depending where they are in their careers at that moment.

Minimum 4 fights before Vick earns a title shot.
