Probably not very far. I don't buy that he's significantly more athletic than a lot of the top HW's. Sure, he moves well, but so does Travis Brown and he's not championship material.
He's struggled against lesser competition. Not sure if he'll ever consistently be in the top 10.
I think he could be in the top 15, hw just needs to beat Volkov (using wrestling), Oleinyk (using striking) or Tim Johnson (using jab and run)
I mean, with a good strategy he can win those fights
I will never buy this bullshit that if someone is lean and big they are automatically better athletes than everyone else. Maybe he'll go far but that will be due to his skills if they improve. Honestly athleticism is overstated on this forum and in general. Skills are more important. And since most heavyweights are lacking in skill those that have it will be able to embarrass these so called 'athletes'.
Walt has a solid 1,2 and an ideal body type to use an offense predicated on it.
I don't see has as ever making it into the upper echelon, but I think he could easily stick around for a very long time, and become a regular main carder
Too inconsistent to really climb the rankings imo. Athletic and has great power though so he's a legit threat to anyone he just isn't likely to string together too many wins in a row. When he fights I want to watch though.
