What is your highest level of education? And if you went to college, what did you major in?
I didn't drop out of high school.
B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Drexel University
A B.S. in the Thug Life from Streetz University imo
Ph.D in Geography
MEs in Environmental Economics
B.A in Economics
Not as impressive as it looks. I was trying to avoid the "real world" for as long as I possibly could.
BA in Communications Minors in Marketing, Sales, and Film. Associates in Kinesiology.
I'll have my PharmD in May 2015. Just have an A.S right now.
Economics to Geography? That's kind of an unorthodox path. What made you want to get a doctorate in Geography?
Well I don't walk into lamp posts, but at the same time calculus is way beyond my understanding... so i'm going with average.
Mech engineer major & lsu
I'm torn between working on my 2nd bachelor's degree or just finishing my premed requirements and applying to med school. I'm already 27, so I'm leaning towards the latter.
Haha...I hear this same reason from about 80% of the Ph.Ds I meet. Academia is a great escape.
I have a Bachelor's in Psych and am currently getting an MFA in fiction. Will probably get a Ph.D. in something afterwards just so I can be called Doctor Leagon.
I had actually half completed a Ph.D in Environmental Economics but basically gave up when I got a job in the private sector.
Turns out that I hated the private sector even more, but used my professional experiences to develop a new research focus (I worked as a consultant for a waste management company, then did my Ph.D examining the antecedents to recycling behavior).
Waste management falls under the Geography umbrella (which includes a wide range of topics ranging from physical geography to human issues such as migration, international development etc)
physical therapy. current med student.
nealry finished 11th grade.
Where'd you study?
Western Grad right here
Then Nursing at St. Lawrence College
You come across as a smart man, why didn't you finish?
B.A. in Political Science double minored in Psychology and Sociology
I have a FMA professional designation so I had to take a bunch of classes on commercial real estate.
Did my first two degrees at York, then the last at Waterloo.
I actually worked for Stewardship Ontario (the guys that run the Blue Box program), but I didn't think any non Ontario residents would know who they were.
P.S: You chose one of the hardest but most rewarding careers in the world. Much respect.
