How easy will I pick up BJJ if ive had 6 months of subfighting?

From what I've been told numerous time... you generally spend the first six months just learning how not to get submitted every few seconds. I've been at it about 4 months now and I'm finding it's starting to clikc now and I can pretty much man handle anyone who is in their first month. Blue blets always get me but I am able to put up a solid defense for quite a bit.

I think with Jiu Jitsu you definitely have to be about the journey as much as the goal to really get somewhere.

ur 6 months of sub wrestling is nothing and ur still a noob. I saw in your other thread you said that bjj guys are often predictable --- how the fuck would you know anything about anything when youve only trained 6 months?? I guarantee you the guys at my school would smoke ur ass so fast you wouldnt dare say they were predictable.


you will pick up the basics of bjj faster then a total noob cuz youve had some training but thats about it.

And how do you mean pick up? You mean how good will you get? It all depends on how you learn. I mean you could have 6 months of cooking and you may be able to pick up grappling super easy, its all about how you learn.

Also, froget about picking it up, just start training maybe?
