ok, like i said in my last post here, i've been boxing for a while but have no experience in grappling, throwing kicks, etc... only with my hands.

once i get this brace off my elbow b/c of torn ligaments i'm going to start MMA and this is what i plan on my schedule looking like for when i first start out based on the classes they offer:

Sun-Tues: BJJ for an hour and 15 mins each day
Wed-Fri: boxing at a different gym
and saturday: muay thai for an hour, at the same place as BJJ

just wondering what you think of this schedule and does it look good for someone just starting in MMA for the times i get to train in them. as i get better/more experienced i'll be putting more time into BJJ... in muay thai i'm just wanting to learn the right techniques for throwing knees, elbows, and kicks so i think once a week is ok.

So you're going to take Monday and Friday off?

I'd see how it goes if you're coming off an injury. None of know what you can handle in terms of training volume.

You have to listen to your body! Don't be afraid to take a day off.
