For a moment in time strikeforce was in a position to be bigger than ufc. After affliction and elitexc went under (which put on way better cards than ufc, most the time anyways) Strikeforce was the only one left standing. He sold for peanuts do to pressure from investors after he got caught up with m1 global and they extorted him for millions. If he just could of held out a couple more years....imagine strikeforce cards compared to the females and garbage ufc puts on now a days. Cost himself billions!!!

Atleast he should of asked for a couple % of ufc for the merger

He probably feels like he misswd the boat. Which he did. But he also could see this as a chance for Bellator to gain some ground during the transition if some of the new UFC adjustments don't pan out and he's able to make the right moves in the mean time.

Strikeforce was never close to being bigger than the UFC

he's just happy to be there

Not to casual fans anyways. But their match making was levels above the UFC and they had a lot of top talent. If given enough time and a TV deal, they COULD have been as big as the UFC. It takes a long time to build a franchise name.

Strikeforce would have ended up like Bellator.
A haven for PED abusers where fighters are so badly out of shape they make Roy Nelson look good and one guy actually dies for a minute because the promotion doesn't give a fuck about fighter health?

Huh. I guess we have different opinions on what MMA promotions should be.

Reckon he's doing fine. Dude's not exactly poor.

Who cares how or what Coker is thinking/feeling. The guy got out maneuvered. Happens in business all the time. There are winners and losers in life.

LMFAO M1 Global extorted him for millions, really? Coker made millions with M1 Global by obtaining Fedor who was the #1 P4P fighter in the world at that time. Fedor fought in Strikeforce, made them millions and gave them instant credibility as being a legit MMA org almost equal to the UFC. If they would've kept that association with M1 Global they would've been the best MMA Org around today surpassing the UFC.
