How does Overeem beat Stipe?

What is the game plan?

Stipe will likely be more heistant to throw leather as quickly with a killer like Overeem especially since he is defending his belt.

I think Overeems needs to stay on the outside, fight safe, fight boring, chop at Stipes legs, try and take him down, clinch him/wall and stall. First safe, fight boring, fight ugly, fight borderline dirty, avoid going blow for blow with Stipe since Stipe likely has the fresher chin.

He will try to avoid brawls and do something flashy to get a TKO but hes in for a rude awakening and so are many sherdoggers

Two words: Oblique kicks

Step 1: Frustrate Stipe with oblique kicks and well placed body kicks all night

Step 2: circle out with his great footwork

Step 3: force Stipe into overcommitting with a punch for a TEXTBOOK Left Hook or knee counter KO.

What you talking about Sherdog is predicting Stipe to win by tko..... Overeem haters and fans of other fighters whom Reem destroyed love to talk about his chin and how he can always be k.o. and its true with regards to powerful strikers (and Big foot by fluke).

Also, Overeem would be the GOAT if he had Iron chin. Literally nobody else would beat him, you aren't submitting HW Reem, you aren't outgrappling him, you aren't outstriking him, you aren't outwrestling him to a decision, his cardio is enough for 3 rounds.

Analyztair Solvereem reads Stipe like a book and shuts him down.

Overeem can beat Miocic. Obviously the biggest concern is Overeem's chin but looking at his fights with Junior Dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski where Overeem barely got hit I think that Overeem can outstrike Stipe Miocic and knock him out. He can go for a takedown but given Miocic's wrestling background and 72% takedown defense success I don't think that is the right strategy. I also don't think Miocic can takedown Overeem and keep him down. Expect a standup war and expect Overeem to use his full striking arsenal including punches, kicks and knees.

by entering the octagon.

I think he should approach it exactly like you described it. Keep distance, work leg kicks, utilize the jab, when it gets into the clinch work the dirty boxing and muay thai and then wait for Stipe to make a mistake that he can counter on.

I think attempting a takedown or two at opportune times wouldn't be a bad idea either. Try to catch stipe off guard. Reem does have a good top game on the ground.

Its not like the majority are picking Stipe to win. Many believe that now as Overeem has looked good lately he'll take the belt as easily as he finished his recent fights so its like 55-45 or 60-40 for Overeem

I can actually seeing him by almost anything. He's that well rounded. I could also see him getting knocked out though. It wouldn't surprise me if Overeem won by KO with anything from kick, punch, ground and pound, knee you name it. I can also seeing him doing the ole econoreem point fighting to a decision. Or he can sub him as well, dude has more submission finishes than ko/tko. I only see Stipe winning by ko/tko.

Would like to see a good old fashioned reemotine

It's the same fight as the jds fight I believe ..
I like the reem in this one
2nd round tko/ko

Avoid brawling, pick Stipe apart until Stipe gets frustrated gives an opening for a KO shot.

Stipe is simply too tough, went 5 rounds with jds.

If jds couldnt finish him, overeem wont either.
