I'm still backing the GOAT to get the job done, but this isn't an easy fight at all.

Diaz is bigger, taller, longer reach, good boxing and has great cardio.

This is also the first time ever, McGregor will be at WW. Diaz has fought at WW many times before. McGregor is moving up two weight classes from his last fight.

I'm trying to picture McGregor's entries for his strikes, but it's difficult as Diaz is so lanky and has reach. Diaz is also fresh off the destruction of top LW contender Michael Johnson.

I'm surprised that betting odds are so much in McGregor's favor. McGregor also has been training and prepping for RDA, who has a completely different style and skill set to Diaz.

For McGregor to land his strikes, he's gonna have to stand in the pocket and box Diaz. Which isn't the safest thing to do.

This is a tough fight.

you sound like Joe Rogan trying to hype up a fight that's one of the biggest mismatches in UFC history. Nate is tailor made for McGOAT. Nate's reach would be an issue if he didn't stand still and threw long slow looping punches. McGOAT ends it in under 2 rounds

I assure you, I'm being genuine. No troll.

Nate is out of shape now. Dana confirmed with people around Nate before he lets Nate fight Cash Cow

This. Nate has nothing for the lad. His style was almost designed to get bodied by Conor.

He's the anti-Diaz:

Strategy, speed and spinning shit.

With a 'Hollywood' kick.

If he's finally going to land one of his over dramatised kicks, it's going to be against Diaz.

If Nate can force Conor to backup and pin him against the cage and take him down he has a good chance to submit him. That's a big "IF"

It should be a fun fight no matter what.

As a huge fan of both, leaning slightly toward Conor (it's not Nick, I'm loyal to Nick), it is a tough choice! But it's a really hard fight for Conor! Stylistically it's the worst matchup for Conor! With wrestlers Conor can KO their asses, but with Nate, he's better on BJJ and boxing! Even with a better reach!

So it is hard to imagine Conor having a easy win! This will be a dogfight! With fans being the winner!

That said! Conor has better power and movement, so Conor might be able to catch Nate with some big shots. Nate's chin is less granite than Nick's, so it might be possible for Conor to crack it.

Either way, I am super pumped about this!

It can go different ways. Diaz isnt the type to keep to Connors footwork and just stay on the edge of the octagon and let connor stalk and strike. Like, mendez, siver, brandao etc etc

Connor tires his opponents out by stalking them, making them miss and keeping the pressure.
I dont think Diaz even knows how to move defensively to even go that flow.

He wont tire like his other opponents, he wont have the same reach advantage.
Diaz boxing is decent, so it will intestesting. Connors uses movement, but he doesnt use use his fast twitch contantly and throw leg kicks and head kicks like someone like Thompson and Benson.

If it gets to the ground, diaz will control him or get a scrambling sub.
Its a Connors hardes fight, harder than Aldo and Mendez.

IMO, RDA is an easier fight for McGregor.
Yeah seriously I've said it many time before, RDA is the easiest fight for Conor! It's like a slower version of Aldo, he won't even be able to touch Conor!

If Thomson was able to "punk" Diaz standing, I have faith Conor can do the same.

If you think RDA is slow, wait till you see Nate Diaz explode into action

You must be high if you think RDA wont be able to touch Conor

People really think McGregor can win this fight easily? I'm not sure what will happen, but Nate could easily be a nightmare for Conor.

And you sound like a classic Conor nuthugger. Try looking at the match up objectively and you will see what TS means.
