How does Hendo pack so much zip in his punches when he is a smaller middleweight?

It natural for him...He has got huge dense paws...fedor does too. Hendo also has a thick head so he can absorb oncoming punches allowing him more room to throw his hips into his punches without fear of getting KO'd when he opens up

I doubt it's his technique, he throws some wild bombs most of the time.

It's his Indian heritage, same thing that gives him the granite chin. They are susceptible to disease and alcohol though.

LOL
But they can operate a casino and you can't. And they can sit back and drink liquor and smoke shrooms while the slots generate profit.

But seriously, part of Henderson's power comes from the fact that he doesn't mind getting inside and eating a shot on the way.
Because he can take a punch like nobody, he can move forward and cut off his opponent better than most.
It works almost all the time and hardly anyone beats him standing, but it cost him against Anderson Silva.

He rotates his whole body into the H-bomb. This generates massive power, he also tends to find the jawline with it often too.

Yeah but there are plenty of fighters who are even bigger who really torque their body into their punches but do not result in the same kind of catastrophic KOs that Hendo produces.

he puts his whole body into it when he throws the H bomb

This. He literally throws his entire body into that punch, it's the classic Haymaker mixed with bodyweight & technique.

Scariest single punch in MMA if you ask me.

Watch the Fedor fight though, he hits Fedor with an uppercut from below while on top of Fedor. No way could he put all his body weight into that punch but he still KO'd Fedor.

That time he couldn't have I agree.

I guess he just hits hard as fuck. A natural ability like speed etc.

Look I'm not trying to say that if Hendo was pure white that he would have less punching power, fighting spirit and chin but...

...If he was pure white he would have less punching power, fighting spirit and chin.

Wrestling? The fuck is that? Throw hands. And hands Hendo throws.

What they smoke is called "wampum".

Again, how did he KO Fedor from behind and on the ground like he did if it was just a question of distance? He still had to generate a lot of power from that short distance to KO Fedor.

Fedor had never seen this punch, came right from below his armpit, so while less powerful, it did the trick.

TS seems to think that punching power is in some way correlated with size.

I dont get how.

Goddamn this is wrong and funny as hell

Also watch when he KO's Wand... it's an arm punch from his left hand that finishes Wand.

The idea that Hendo is a "small middleweight" is laughable and just shows how absurd all of this weight cutting has become.

We're at the point where we're calling a guy who walks around at around 205 (let's say 203-208 range) in a natural, trained state to be a "small middleweight." At about 6' tall, and in that weight range, he is a very thick, solid, big guy. Guys that size, given great technique, tend to hit really hard.

Yes, there are a bunch of big, heavy and striking-challenged wrestlers in the UFC right now. It's probably the American fascination with the idea that bigger = hit harder which isn't the case. Hendo is plenty big, and hits plenty hard.

Before his use of TRT he was aptly called ''Decision Dan'', guess what happened after that..
